We have been busy building architectural models. Our latest output is a model of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) building in Scarborough. This model was made for the York based architects, BrierleyGroom. Other recent work includes models for up and coming architects, Vietzke & Borstelmann in Hamburg, Germany.
We made the model using our Hewlett Packard Multi Jet Fusion 4200. Made from Nylon PA 12, the model has crisp edges and sharp corners with no apparent distortion. Multi Jet Fusion technology achieves significantly higher material density than older technologies like SLS due to Hewlett Packard's innovative voxel fusion process. Our 3D printing bureau service is the only one in the UK with HP Multi Jet Fusion technology. Consequently, we give you rare access to this game-changing equipment.
Furthermore, our Fortus 900mc is rare too. There are also few bureau services in the UK able to offer it. Significantly, it accurately 3D prints large-scale parts in a range of engineering thermoplastics. The build chamber measures 914 x 610 x 914mm.
We can create your designs fast and at low cost due to the capabilities on offer. We provide surface finishes as well, including smooth painted surfaces, black dyed surfaces and metal plating.
3D printing is now an everyday technology for making models and prototypes. Please get in touch with us to talk through your requirements. You can simply upload your 3D file here too for a fast quotation.
