We had a great couple of days at the Visual Merchandising and Display Show 2018 in London last week. 3D scanning and printing give retailers the freedom to create all kinds of vibrant, eye-catching window displays, POP (point of purchase) stands, and visual merchandising elements. Items can be created quickly and at a range of scales and quantities unmatched by traditional manufacturing methods.
Together with our partners, Service Graphics, our stand at the VM and Display Show gave us the opportunity to show off the creative potential of this technology to retailers and visual merchandisers. Our team gave live 3D scanning demonstrations, showing just how easy it can be to capture data and replicate products at a range of scales. Fluxaxis is unique in that we offer an end-to-end service, our Finishing Department providing a wide range of paint and scenic finishes for our 3D prints. We had an impressive range of these high-quality finishes on show on our stand.
The ability to produce larger-than-life high-quality models at speed is transforming high-level advertising and in-store experiences. We can now create even more imaginative ways to attract attention and deliver messaging. This has become increasingly important in today's market. Eye-catching and social media-friendly, 3D printing can enhance brand communication and leave a lasting impression, long after customers leave the store.
We had a great time talking to retailers and visual merchandisers at the VM and Display Show. If you missed us but would like to chat about what 3D technology can do for retail, please get in touch!
