This intricate model of a recycling centre was made in over thirty individual pieces that ranged from miniature conveyor belts and staircases, complete with handrails, to whole buildings. We used our HP Multi Jet Fusion 4200 3D printer for the 3D printing of all the elements. This machine does a wonderful job reproducing detailed, intricate parts which might look delicate, but are actually remarkably strong. The HP uses nylon PA12, a resilient and stable material that doesn't degrade.
The 800mm long model was painted in the client's corporate colours in our specialist finishing department. The model was made for our client BlueMAC Ltd who manufacture recycling centres and was presented to their client, Bingo Industries, as a thank you.
The HP Multi Jet Fusion 4200 is the ideal printer for projects requiring detail and strength and produces excellent architectural models.
